Round Two of the FAST40+ Circuit kicked off at the International Paint Poole Regatta with three thrilling races on a windward-leeward course in Poole Bay. A misty start with a light northerly breeze flicked east as the sun burnt of the haze piping up to 15 knots. After three high octane races, Peter Morton’s British CF40+ Girls on Film, helmed by Irishman Anthony O’Leary, leads the class by two points from Niklas Zennstrom’s Swedish Carkeek designed Rán. Stewart Whitehead’S Carkeek MkIII Rebellion is in third place. Irish helm, Niall Dowling racing Ker40+ Pace, and Bas de Voogd’s Dutch Carkeek MkIII Hitchhiker are tied on points for fourth. Steve Cowie’s Scottish team racing GP42 Zephyr had a consistent day, finishing just a point behind Pace and Hitchhiker.
